Overview

Jean Dry Lake is located in southern Nevada, about 45 minutes drive south on Interstate 15 from Las Vegas, NV, and about 20 minutes drive north on I15 from Primm on the NV/CA border. GPS coordinates: 35°47'30"N, 115°15'0"W

The closest airport is McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS). Another airport option may be Ontario International Airport (ONT) in southern California. Note that the drive from Ontario is at least 3 hours (200 miles) and may be much longer when traffic is heavy. For general aviation, the Jean Sport Aviation Center may also be an option - more info is available on the McCarran website.

Here is a Google Maps link showing the area. The intersection of I15 and 161 is Jean. The big white blob to the right/east is the dry lake and launch site. Follow I15 south to the California border and that will be Primm. Or check out these screen shots...
